Jewelry Organization

I'm not too big on jewelery. Really, I wear the same thing almost every day. I'll switch it up every now and then though. But everyone needs jewelry organization no matter what, right?

Here's my way.

Fortunately, my closet was big enough to put my little dresser in it
- which was great because there wasn't any room in my bedroom.

The top cabinet opens up to two drawers. The top is for jewelry that doesn't get worn very often and other random items. The second drawer is my undie drawer.

The other two drawers are labeled. The bra drawer includes:
- every day bras, sport bras, bandueas, extra straps, etc.

As for the top, I have my watches that I switch on and off with depending on what I'm wearing: bracelets, necklaces, my everyday perfume, a piggy bank, and a mason jar full of extra buttons. Oh, and my hidden lint roller behind the necklace holder. :)

I found this jar at Hobby Lobby for around $1.
It's perfect for all those Lily and Laura bracelets!

I found this oval mirrored plate at Hobby Lobby as well.
It holds my watches, a couple bracelets, and a few of my favorite earrings.

Can't go wrong with a cute piggy bank!

You know all those extra buttons you get with a new jacket or shirt?
I keep the tag and either fold or cut it so that just the brand shows and stick it in the little bag with the button. It helps when you lose a button off your shirt. Just look at the brand and find the bag. Much easier than putting them all in a bag or jar unlabeled. :)

On the wall to the right of my dresser is my shutter (Ignore the ugly vent below). I found this at a thrift store, spray painted it black, and added black drawer pulls from Lowes. It holds all of my dangle earrings and longer necklaces that were too long for my necklace stand.

If you ever want a shutter for earrings, make sure the wood panels aren't too thick for the earrings to fit on. I had to bend a couple of my earrings out so they would fit.

And there you have it!
